Peeling Layers: How video adds depth to marketing

Video marketing allows gives your brand the unique opportunity to tell your brand's story in a unique and visual way. Using long form blog posts are still important to your marketing strategy but producing quality video for your business allows you to tell an immersive story that your viewers can consume in bite sized pieces.

I like to relate video marketing to one of my favorite childhood movies, Shrek. There's the line that says "Ogres are like onions they have layers". So are your marketing topics.

You have so many layers to your marketing topics that your website viewers can fall into and being able to pull those layers apart there might be times where someone liked what you were saying. There may be someone who sees that 15 second clip and that might be all they really care about, but then that might pique their interest and they want more and it allows them to naturally go through that story to get the information they want. They're not being forced from the beginning to consume this entire blog post, they might only care about a part of it.

Taking a longer, bigger concept and breaking it down into smaller bite-sized chunks  allows people to interact with you a lot quicker a lot simpler and it allows them to get to what they want and then move on because that's what they want to do. And it's all about user experience to your point. Like user experience is everything.
