What's the weak link in your video workflow?

Well… it's kind of a natural thing right.  I'm into hockey, every hockey team has a weakest player; sadly that's usually me.

The same thing applies to any "group of things" working together.

In the case of a video workflow that’s everything from

  • Processors
  • RAM
  • Applications
  • Storage

This can make a huge difference for any project.  If you've ever 'force quit' an application or something is taking way too long on your computer, there's a good chance you're working close to one of your bottlenecks.

The most important thing I can encourage you to do is build balanced technology.  Don't obsess over a faster hard drive when you're on a on a 5 year old processor.

Create balance.
