Integrating cloud storage into your professional video workflow can open your team to some new capabilities. You'll definitely benefit from the numerous ways cloud storage can improve your workflow. However, there are some challenges to cloud storage to consider.

We all kind of want the technology to be further than it is. But when you have to edit high-resolution media, you're going to have to make some kind of sacrifice, some kind of give.  We've put a lot of our efforts into how do we make that feel transparent? Because there's got to be some kind of, you know local element to it.

Unless you go with a complete cloud ecosystem like the workstation, server, storage everything's in the cloud. Then of course that has its own big asterisks to it.

Creators want to create they really don't want to be wrestling with complex cloud architecture where their workstation is some cube, then the server is actually somewhere else. They really want just want to focus on creating. Video production is still kind of a physical, high-touch sort of process and you know when you're cutting rushes or your cutting a lot of footage, it's has to be done be fast and responsive. Then you also want that knowing that it's protected in case a hard drive dies, this does happen.
