CAR-dware Issues

Last week I talked to you all about what happened when my car broke down and how Cloud video editing came in and save the day and I was able to continue my job from home without any hassle. This week, I want to talk to you guys a little bit more about what happens when hardware fails or in my case, CAR-dware fails

So when my car broke down last week, I was driving home and I started to notice some electrical issues. My dashboard was flashing, my power steering locked up a bunch of different things just started happening that were really weird.

I get it pulled over to the side of the road and the first thing I do is I pull out my user manual. I go through there and easily I'm able to identify there's some type of electrical issue that's causing that problem. Then I pull out my phone, go to Google and that just reconfirms what I saw.

The second thing I do is I call roadside assistance that I have through my insurance. They came out, ran a battery test and gave me a jump. The test was able to tell there was some kind of connection issue between the battery and the alternator that was causing my car to die, that's why it wasn't holding a charge. So now I have a better idea of where to go and what to do and how to fix the problem

Luckily, I just bought the new battery that was in my car a couple weeks ago. So I still have the receipt it was still under the warranty. I was able to go back to the auto store, give them my receipt, get a new battery and pop that in which ended up being what I need to do to fix my car because there was a disconnect between the battery in the alternator.

So what do you do when server Hardware breaks down? First go to your knowledge base or to your user manual. Inside, there's going to be a lot of information that can help you troubleshoot the problem or probably fix it on your own.

If that's not enough, go to your service provider. Whether you do a live chat, email support system or a phone call, get someone on the line that can help you out and help you identify your problem and they might be able to help you troubleshoot it remotely.

If that's still not enough and you find out there's actual hardware issue make sure that you have all of your warranty information nearby. In the case of an emergency you can easily access it and get that warranty processed so you're not stuck sitting and waiting for new parts and you can be up and running and back to business the way you want to be.
