ShareMAX uses standard gigabit Ethernet connections to achieve speeds up to 80MB/s. This allows multiple workstations to edit video codecs of all flavors efficiently with support for all of the most commonly used codecs including Pro Res HQ.

For users that require more performance than a gigabit Ethernet connection offers ShareMAX supports Multipathing technologies, allowing the user to bond more than one gigabit connection for greater speeds. Users can also choose to expand performance by adding option 10GbE or Fibre Channel expansions.

ShareMAX comes standard with 6 ports of gigabit Ethernet that can be direct connected to workstations or connected to a switch for distribution to more users.
