The ProMAX ProjectStor FX7 LTO5 (14TB) is the first combination disk storage and archival system design exclusively for video editors. This standalone unit connects easily to your computer through a standard mini-SAS connector. Extend your disk storage capacity by 14TB and archive your projects to high capacity standard LTO5 tape cartridges for storage or delivery to clients. Because the LTO5 tape drive has a compressed archive capacity of 3TB and uncompressed of 1.5TB per cartridge and automatically spans tapes, the ProjectStor will have no problem holding your data.
With RAID 5 protection you can save your files to the disk array and be protected against a single drive failure. Equipped with a PCIe and mini-SAS interface, this ProjectStor offers editing speeds of 600MB/Sec. If you need a storage unit that can hold all your projects, then this is the storage unit for you.
