The 8TB Fusion D400QR5 Desktop Storage System Hard Drive Array from Sonnet is an external RAID storage system for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. The array features 4 hot-swappable drives which can be configured as a RAID 5 or RAID 0 array. When configured as RAID 5, the array can read data at up to 225MB/sec and write data at up to 177MB/sec.

The array connects via eSATA, USB 2.0, FireWire-800, or FireWire-400. It is housed in a desktop form factor for easy installation. A Vantec Stealth fan -- 80% quieter than a standard case fan -- provides low-noise cooling. The Fusion D400QR5 is certified for use with industry-standard NLE software, including Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. It has been approved for use with video capture cards by AJA, Blackmagic Design, Matrox, and Bluefish444.
