Warranty Policy

ProMax Systems, Inc. DBA: ProMax Technology warrants each system for a period of time as stated on the original purchase invoice. Software is warranted by a separate written statement accompanying the software. Our factory warranty is to the original purchaser and can not be transferred. While our warranty is in effect ProMax will repair or replace the system at no charge if it is found to be defective. The entire system, including all cables, should be returned to complete the repair without delay. The system must be shipped prepaid in its original packing material with a ProMax RMA Number on the address label of the shipping carton or may be refused by ProMax. Please do not write on the original packaging. ProMax will repair or will replace the system with in forty-eight hours and will return it prepaid by a similar common carrier service as used to ship to ProMax. Our warranty covers defects encountered in normal use. It is void when damaged by abuse, mishandling, accidents, excessive dirt or dust, water damage, power surges, unauthorized service, or by inadequate packaging during shipment(s). All claims must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales invoice. ProMax is not responsible for any data that might be on a drive system or cartridge. To protect your data you must perform backups at regular intervals and especially before you send a system for repair. The warranty set forth above is exclusive and no other warranty written or oral, is expressed or implied. ProMax disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Sony consumer camcorder and deck products have a 1 year parts and a 90 day labor warranty.
