Technical Sales Champions Wanted!

We hire account executives with a passion for technology and a commitment to client’s success. This is primarily an inside sales position, however, you will hold weekly outside sales appointments to build rapport with clients. We don't want cold-call closers. We do want men and women who understand a consultative sales approach and have the proven ability to position and sell their products in a consultative manner to prospects. You will be expected to quickly come up to speed on the technical capabilities of the video computer industry so knowledge of computer hardware technology is key and video industry knowledge is even better.
 
Complete product and industry training will be provided to those candidates that bring a champion's attitude and technical aptitude to our organization. As one of our account executives, you will have the ability to "dial your own income" based on your performance and there is no limit to your earning potential. A non recoverable draw will be provided to build your pipeline. The position includes full benefits, vacation, health insurance and 401K plan.
 
Job Duties / Responsibilities 
Our sales consultants help our customers get the right solutions for their business and are responsible for finding prospects, understanding their needs, configuring solutions and closing sales.  Daily duties and responsibilities include:
·         Respond to inbound sales leads thru email, quote requests and phone calls.
·         Prospect using our current database, industry websites, and ingenuity to uncover opportunities.
·         Onsite client visits to build rapport
·         Uncover client needs through a consultative sales process
·         Qualify Opportunities
·         Build technical solutions, quotes and present options
·         Maintain sales pipeline managed thru internal CRM system and project sales closings each month
·         Close deals
·         Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
Position Requirements
·         High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree requested.
·         Three plus years working in Sales with knowledge of consultative selling.
·         Ability to work independently and with other team members.
·         Strong knowledge of computer hardware systems (high-end MAC, PC, Storage, Networking).
·         Preferred knowledge of video editing solutions (Apple Final Cut Pro, Avid), video cameras, and editing equipment.
·         Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
·         Proficient in Microsoft office products.
·         Inbound and outbound calling required.
·         Sales Hunter, natural sales person, high tolerance for change
·         Advisor, consultant, great at building rapport
·         Consistent work ethic, highly focused on accomplishment, self motivated
Knowledge Experience
This position requires extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software specifically related to the video industry. Key example technology include: AVID, Adobe, Apple, Mac Pro, XSAN, Xserve, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Server, and Video Storage Systems such as Promise, Active Storage, Isilon, Facilis. PC Systems including HP, Windows 7, and IBM. Production Reference Monitors, Video Converters including AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic, Interface to Decks, Digital output devices, Professional HD Cameras, Tape/Tapeless (Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, RED), Storage Hardware systems, internal/external, Firewire, eSata, SAS, RAID, Fiber, strong knowledge of networking systems and server technologies. Knowledge of Video workflow for simple and complex environments will be necessary.
Location
This position operates out of our corporate office in Irvine, CA and has a US sales territory with a primary focus in Southern California.
