Sales Consultant - Post Production Technology

We offer a complete line of configuration, installation, and support services for our customers all over the US. Since the early 90's, we have gained the experience and trust of our clients through top-notch service and customer first philosophy. We are growing and looking for an experienced, talented individual to fill a key role in our corporate headquarters located in Southern California.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

Our sales consultants help our customers get the right solutions for their business and are responsible for finding prospects, understanding their needs, configuring solutions and closing sales. They are compensated with a lucrative commission plan (commission only position) and full company benefits. Daily duties and responsibilities include:
• Prospect using our current database, industry websites, and ingenuity to uncover opportunities.
• Respond to inbound sales leads thru email, quote requests and phone calls.
• Uncover client needs through a consultative sales process.
• Build technical solutions and present options.
• Maintain sales pipeline managed thru internal CRM system and project sales closings each month.
• Close deals.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommend new opportunities.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Knowledge Experience 

This position requires extensive hands on knowledge of computer hardware and software specifically related to the video industry. Key technology systems include: Apple Systems, Mac Pro, XSAN, Xserve, Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Server, Promise. PC Systems, HP Systems, Windows Vista, AVID NLE’s, Production Reference Monitors, Video Converters including AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic, Interface to Decks, Digital output devices, Professional HD Cameras, Tape/Tapeless (Sony, Panasonic, Canon, JVC, RED), Storage Hardware systems, internal/external, Firewire, eSata, SAS, RAID, Fiber, strong knowledge of networking systems and server technologies.
If you do not have experience in this technology and you are a great sales person, we will train you. However, a prerequisite is that you must have successful technology sales experience and demonstrate great aptitude with it.

Location

This position operates out of our corporate office in Irvine, CA and requires work on site at this location.
