With a lot of it, one finds not only the ability to do things well, but even to make them look easy. Just as it is with Michael Jordan and a basketball, or Lance Armstrong and a bike, so it is with Video Movie Magic and film and video production: they do it well, and they make it look easy.

Evolution

Video Movie Magic's evolution over the past twenty plus years has been possible due to one simple, yet important goal: keeping their clients happy. "A happy client is one who will be compelled to come back time and time again,” says Mike Jones, Owner and President. "We want our clients to know we will go the extra mile for them and give our best effort on each and every project.” Patience is another virtue VMM has found indispensable, allowing them to vertically integrate all of their services. This affords them complete control over their projects from concept to completion. "The luxury of being able to complete everything in-house guarantees our clients receive the best,” adds Steven Shelden, who is the Senior Producer at VMM. Their highly qualified personnel get to use their own state-of-the-art, well-maintained equipment, which allows them to take some extra time if needed to finish a project to their high standards.

Expansion

VMM also recently upgraded their post-production capabilities. After extensive research and analysis of their broad-based clientele, they determined that, along with quality, they needed flexibility, compatibility, and reliability from their editing systems. "In our search to find the best solution we concluded ProMax could give us what we were looking for,” Rick Jones, General Manager tells us. "The knowledge, support, and efforts of the ProMax team helped guide us to our current solution.” They are currently using Final Cut Pro editing systems networked through the Xsan Server to an array of Xsan RAIDs. Their edit bays are fiber optically networked which allows them to work on either multiple projects, or the same project simultaneously at multiple edit stations in HD or SD. They have HDCAM, DVCProHD, DigiBeta, DVCPro50 and 25, Beta SP, DVCAM and many other source decks connected to their edit bays. This flexibility allows them to meet the demands of their varied clientele at a moments notice.
